Guest zbot43
Hello Everyone. I have a fuel injection system out of a 1989 Chevrolet 3500 Pickup (TBI). The Vss was in the speedo head, along with the buffer. I didn't get those parts. I bought a VSS from Painless wiring, but don't see an easy way to connect it to the ecm. I have a two wire sensor, and a single wire input to the ecm. Is there something out there to help me get the Vss working in my car??? Some adapter or something? I supposedly need 2000 digital pulses per mile. Any ideas??? GM ECM #1228747 Thanks, Marcello
Mike kZ
One wire from the vss is a ground. It doesn't matter which. The other goes to your ecu. Try that.
Guest zbot43
Ok, I am feeling rather stupid. Yes, that was as simple as it was. It is now working perfectly. Thank you. I was making it harder than it had to be.
