Got the r200/turbo axle conversion done on my 79zx. the axles actually do "Pop" into place like everyone says - which was a big relief. In about 4 more days i'll have "Michelle" back on the road. After about 4 months of restoration (or shall i say archaeology) the suspension (original to the car!), brakes, driveline and steering systems are completely replaced with all new and restored components. Next time she goes down, it'll be for the cobra motor and t56! i cannot wait to drive it for the first time with the new suspension... i bet it's a completely different animal! When my friend Auxilary rebuilt the suspension in his car, I was amazed at how great the transformation felt from the original sloppy feel of original components. Tell us about it when you finish!!
