Guest jjohart
My racing installer has put it on me to figure out whether I should use a AFC after putting on progressive rate fuel controller, Bosch fuel pump, NPR intercooler and such.. His rationale is "if you're adding more fuel, you have to add more air, and the way to get it is either the JCW chip, or the air/fuel computer". My gut instinct is this is a bit more high wire than I want to go. I would think there are ways of running everything without the computer, i.e the stock EFI, and going to the computer would be in tandem with late development stuff like 37lb injectors and a serious drop-off in reliability and daily drivability if there are problems. Anyone got a take on this?!

Guest jjohart
Yes, stock EFI system on an 82 280ZX is pretty easy to come by on those cars, bone stock at the moment! John
