down to the point, my mom is gunna buy me rims and rubber for an xmas present :D, what a nice mother..

i will eventually be going with toyota fronts, and zx rear, i will be using coil overs and 5 ways from ross, and will be swapping in an r200 and sway bars, and eventually those adjustable rear control arms ross will be havin ;)

anyways,

without really knowing what clearance i have, will 17x8s fit all around? and if so what would be the largest sized tire i could get on there? :), as for backspacing/offset and bolt pattern, what will match up relatively close?

or should i just wait till everything else is done? :D

thanks as always :D

Merry Christmas,

Shamus

I did not look hard but did not see what u are driving, I will assume a 240 or 280..

I would not install 17" wheels, everyone I have chatted with said they make the ride to harsh.

As for tire size, I have looked a lot and still not desided. but my point is for the money u are going to spend and u cant take them back, look at a lot of pics, ask what they have and save a bunch to your hard drive so u can compare.

U dont want to be un happy. The car came with 14's Im leaning toward 15's.

go down a couple and read "are wide tires going to wreck my ride" something like that..

Lots of guy posting how they feel about different tire sizes
