I would really enjoy being able to hear an exhaust and buy a particular exhause muffler to match the sound. was wondering if anyone knew if something like that existed. Guest greimann Posted January 14, 2004 Share Posted January 14, 2004 No web site that I know of, but exhaust tone is dependent on much more than just the muffler. Pipe diameter, and length of pipe before and after the muffler greately affect the tone as well. That being said, almost anyone can tell a Flowmaster muffler because thay have such a unique construction. All the others are pretty much the same, with variances in whether it is louder or quieter.
