Guest Anonymous
Hey guys, new owner of a 79 280 ZX with 400 s/b conversion. need to completly redo the exhaust on it. Has block hugger headers now but they chopped the drivers side to clear the steering shaft for some reason, have seen others that didnt require doing this. Oh well anyway i need to know about full length headers or new block huggers? how much power difference, part numbers, any info i may can use at all would be appreciated. Thanks in advance, Randy
Modern Motorsports Ltd
howdy! a 400sbc280ZX, great stuff:-) have you got any pics of what they did on yours? I'm going to redo the full exhaust on my 350-280zx shortly. I have the manual rack'n'pinion and yes that shaft is in the way....My plan so far is to order some 1-3/4's huggers from www.rewarderheaders.com (or no 's' on it). what is your full system rundown? and motor/cam info? exhaust v. loud/idle/WOT/cruise etc? thanks
Guest Anonymous
I'm not familiar with a ZX, but any chance of using a U-joint in the steering shafts to offset it left like the rod guys use? Just curious... Lone
