Guest Anonymous
I was just wondering, i have a fairly good knowledge of cars, being that im only 17, i was wondering if you fellas think that, with the right tools, if i and another 17 year old could do a cehevy v8 conversion?? Also, for all the work and money, is it better to keep the original 240z moter, go v8, or L6, and where do i find info on the l6 conversion?? Guest Anonymous
Obtain the JTR manual which will detail the entire Small Block Chevrolet V8 (SBC)conversion. Order Line # 1-925-462-3619 (around $35.00) A L6 is a Datsun Z straight six cylinder motor in 2400,2600 or 2800 cubic centimeters. Any one can do the conversion if they have the determination to do so. Mechanical skills and terminolgy is helpful and money is useful.Find yourself an old zee first and keep it running reliably before you consider a conversion
