Guest BadKarmaCreepin
so, i just got the car back (loooooong story, short version: don't drive home from the bars) anyway, after a year in the impound lot, the weather has done a number on the rear quarters on the lip, the section between wheels below the door, and a spot on the firewall in the bay (no idea how this got there). i'm sure there's more, but to continue: 1) i wanted to put flares and skirts on the car anyway. can i just repair, catalyze, whatever-ize the rust to stop it via methods i have been reading about in other posts, and just mount the new parts to cover it? 2) if not, what's it going to take? on a seperate note: can i strip, sand down, do rust repairs and prep for paint by spending mostly my energy and little on supplies? *cheap labor + cheaper supplies = happy dan*
