alright, so i must appoligise before i begin this...i've tried to search for the answer for this question but i couldnt find it..so maby if you guys know which posts this answer is under direct me to that...anyways... here goes.

I've been getting a feeling that i will not be able to use the stock fuel pump that the '80 280zx has for the chevy 350 swap. i'm just going to use a standard 650 cfm carb. the engine is from a 89 truck. anyways, what is the deal with the fuel delivery system? will i be able to use the 280zx pump? if not which pump exactly would i need to buy for it to work? will i have to buy any other parts to make it work? anyways, what problems have come up with this issue so i can anticipate it. Anything i'm leaving out please ask me.

thanks for your help as usual.

Nick

You can use the stock high pressure fuel pump if you install a bypass style regulator that is rated for 0 - 15 PSI. I believe I used a Mallory unit, but there are many selections in the Summit or Jegs catalogs.

As a tip for searching, the Author search still works, and many 280ZX posts have my name on them! :D
