Guest zfan
I have a problem with one of my plug wires getting cooked because it is too close to the header. I have Canfield angle plug heads with hooker super comp long tube headers. The header tube has been hammered a little bit for clearance but still is too close and Taylor heat shield boots do not help much. I have heard that there are shorty spark plugs out there that will help with the clearance issue. Has anyone run the shorty plugs, if so who makes them and are they any good? I hate to give up my NGK's Thanks, Mike
QWKDTSN
I have Accel shorty plugs that the dyno shop opted to install when they were tuning my car. About seven bucks a plug but they seem to work fine... I have heat proof boots too and they seem to work perfectly, even with the old plugs, but the old plugs were Kragen specials and I thought an upgrade would be a good idea. Summit has the Accel plugs (they're kind of a neon yellow/green).
