Guest lowlife
I'm new around here ,first post.Located Australia, after years of playing with Triumphs, I've decided to get a car with room under the hood, I have found a 1988 300z with a dead engine[non turbo- needs head work]engines are available here ex Japan, but due to local registration requirements, It is best to stay with original engines, retaining the original engine number saves a lot of expensive hassles, I can get a VG30de, [ex Nissan Leopard auto]but am unsure as to what parts I can swap straight over, or, if I pull the existing engine down ,and it needs more work than its worth, will the VG30de bolt up to the existing 5 speed? Any help appreciated,Thanks.
