Guest Anonymous
Have owned an '86 300ZX since new. Want to put a Chevy small block and train in. John's (Dallas) and JTR do not appear to have any kits or information regarding such a swap.Have not seen subject discussed here. It may be that the hood line is too low to allow such a swap. Does anyone have any information regarding such a 300ZX/Chevy V8 swap, specifically companies or people or web sites? Any suggestions, ideas appreciated. Thanks. ------------------
Modern Motorsports Ltd
If you haven't done a hybrid swap before JTR still offers v. good info/thoughts on how to approach problems IMO. Want any measurements etc on hoodline etc I have a V8 280ZX. I'd doubt it'd be an issue on a 300 as they seem higher AIR and quite wide/deep near firewall (sbc is not a v. long motor). I'm sure members here could help you thru any hurdles you come up against. Are you planning to do it yourself?
