YoungZOwner Posted March 16, 2004 Share Posted March 16, 2004 Hey, everyone, i just got signed up on the site tonight, and just wanted to say HI, and that i am glad i fianlly got a Datsun 240z that i can work on, haas always been a car that i ahve wanted to own and drive. Mine is really bad shape though, and goin to need lots of work, but i am not complaining i only had to pay for the tow bill to my house. I hope to get some pics up for all you, but hard bc still lots of snow up here. Even though it need slots of work i might just use it as a parts car to restore another one. I know where i can get a complete one with efi, for about $1200. and it is supposed to be in way better shape i just have to look underneath this summer and check it all out. But a good thing is that, mine that i have, has a mint dash in it, that right a mint one, no cracks or anything which is crazy for the weather we get up here. Also has mint seats no rips, origional ones too. I got 2 motors witht he car both dual carbed and i have the crome rims, pretty sure not stock. So when i get the pics up tell me what you think should start out with etc, remember though for me, money tight because of college for now, until summer. When you get some pics up, post a description of what you would like to do (engine swap, HP goals, etc) and you will get a lot of feedback on how to get there.
