Guest jjohart
In reference to my I/C'd 83 280ZXT, I have noticed a pretty weird thing going on with fuel delivery/throttle positioning. I have to believe it's in the programming of the ECU, but perhaps the ECU is wrong?! Anyway, what happens all the time is as follows: -start car -45 seconds later (whether car is driven or idling), a lessening of the throttle position occurs, so that the pedal has to be pushed a lot further down to keep revs stable/car not decelerating. -This continues for another 45 seconds, and then it kinda pops off/disappears, and then the throttle has its normal responsivity, so one doesn't have to bring it down so close to the floor! I don't know why this would happen if it were a cold start valve or whatever....since the car runs better at initial startup, and after phasing through whatever is dampening throttle response. Anyone have any ideas what could be doing this so consistently, and how to rectify? Thanks John
