Guest Brent
Has anyone ever had any experience with the Holley Systemax kits? I have one on a 350 chevy in my 240z. It runs 12.30@111. Kinda below my expectations for an engine that is supposed to make 425hp. they claim. I have the one that comes with the heads and all. Guest zfan
That's not terrible for your set up. My Edelbrock rpm 350 sbc set up went a best of 12.30 at 113. My friend has seen 11's in his sbc 350 set up but it took alot of work and patience. The hp numbers sound kind of high. What converter are you running? Also do you have good tires and gears for your set up? Manual trannies can slow you down a little bit, at least they do me Mike As some of the members here have done, just plop in a LS1 and shazzam you have 11's Wish I had gone that route sometimes. Guest Brent
i'm running a turbo 350 with a 2800 stall. Stock r200 diff. with 3.45 gears, 225 50 r 15 G-Force drag radials. they are 24 in. tall. 6000 rpm through the lights on a good run. I think i need about 1000 rpm more stall. It bogs when you nail it at the track. I put a bigger shooter in the carb. but havent been back yet. Taking out factory tank and installing a fuel cell.
