Guest JAMIE T
I've come across a deal on some wheels that I'd be stupid to pass up, but am alittle worried about clearance in the front. Wheels are as follows, 18x9.5 with a 5.5" back space. My fenders are cutout and I have shortened struts and coilovers. I also have 300zx front hubs. I know the 5.5" back space is no problem, but what about outer clearance? My front suspension is all apart right now or else I'd measure it myself. Kennysgreen280zt
http://www.venommotorsports.com/library/tirewheelcalculator.asp You can use this calculator to figure out how far the rim will move "out" of your wheel well. Just enter all the info about your current wheels and also your new wheels. It will show your wheel "inboard" increase and "outboard" increase and then you can just go measure on your car and see if they will fit. Guest JAMIE T
Well, I pulled a wheel off my '71(also equiped with ZG's). It still has the original 4 lug hubs though. It measures almost exactly 6 inches from the wheel mounting flange to the very edge of the lip of the flare. I'm not sure, but have heard that the Z31 hubs sit out about 3/4" more than the S30's. So, figure 5.25" to the lip. The wheel will come out 4" from the hub, so I should have enough clearance. I've got a set of 265/35/18 P-Zero's that will fit these wheels great.
