ZR8ED
Hey guys a quick Q. I really don't want to pull apart a perfectly good hub to measure one bolt for a friend who doesn't have access to this site. He and heck I do to, would like to know the bolt size for a 240 front hub bolt. He is installing a set of 4runner calipers on z31 rotors on a 71 240z the spacers are being made, but he doesn't know the stock size of the bolt that goes through the spacer to the hub. We know it will be longer, but what is the stock size? length in mm, as well as what dia bolt, thread pitch etc.. This brings me to a new idea as I type this. Maybe we should record the bolt sizes for the Z. bolt dia, length, thread count etc... Anyone seen this kind of info? Might make a good sticky? Guest bluex_v1
Rotor-to-Hub bolt: 14mm head 10mm diameter unthreaded shank that is 10mm long 35mm overall length, including head appears to be 8 threads per cm, so is that 1.25 pitch? looks like "fine thread" to me
Guest Looking for apt in Alb Ny
it depends how thick the spacer will be. for the 280z you need 35mm bolts and the 240z you need 45 mm bolts. yes 10mmx1.25 bolts. non nissan bolts usually are 17mm head. Why is he going through the hassle of making spacer. I have them at a real low price and readily available. here is a photo. Thanks Juan
