My Datsun 240z is currently undergoing a complete Back Half job, tubs, solid rear, coilovers, 4 link, 10pt etc, etc, so i was wondering what the best option were for a front suspension, brakes, and stearing set up is? any info would help alot thanks

He's right, the Datsun stuff is fairly light. I'd concentrate on lightening the brakes, while at the same time equiping them for better stopping. You can change to 5 lug using 300ZX('84-89turbo and '87-89 NA) front hubs. You can get 300zx cross drilled rotors. Use Wilwood or similar 4 piston Dynalight calipers to save some unsprung weight. Don't use the popular Toyota 4 piston calipers, they weigh way too much. Swap in some coilovers, and you'll have a sweet adjustable ride height also. You can use Tokico Illuminas(struts) that are adjustable. You can set them loose for a quick launch. Of course lose the sway bar. I've been threatening to tub-out one of mine. A member here, I think his name is JapTin, has a wicked drag z that is SLAMMED. It looks sick!
