Guest comeandzpa Posted May 2, 2004 Share Posted May 2, 2004 I hope this hasn't come up before, I tried to search for it and didn't find anything. I was driving around with my dad today in my 81 ZX, and he mentioned how the tranny (3 speed auto) always feels like it needs one more gear. That got me to thinking- can the 4 speed auto from a Z31 or Z32 be swapped into an S130? I'm assuming the mounts would be different, but has anybody tried this or at least considered it enough to have thorough specs? I would prefer a manual swap but we don't really want to deal with all the extra fabricating that would entail. Any tips are much appreciated.
