Guest jon_volk
I cant find any hard info on whether the manual tranny in the Z32 is different between the n/a and tt versions? The best i could get is that people ASSUMED the tt has a different one but no on has hard info. any help?
Guest jon_volk
checked autozone's website and they listed the same replacement tranny for both motors. dont know how accurate this is but hopefully someone can confirm.
Doug71zt
Internally they are the same - externally there are a few differences, Nissan redesigned the front case for the TT application. Starter mounts differently on the TT. They are not interchangable, but if you need to rebuild one, you can get guts from either and slip them into your case. Hope that this helps. Guest zline
starters are on opposite sides... TT is on the pass side to clear the driver side downpipes. you'd be better off running a 87-89 Z31T mission..its a little better anyway.
