Hey guys. Got a few questions, i've already tried the search function and i couldnt find what i was looking for. i have a 1976 280z with stock suspension and 4 bolt wheels.

1) I want all wheel discs with 5 lugs, I know you can use the hubs off a 300zxtt to change it over to 5 bolt...but does this affect which aftermarket coilovers you can use?

2) I also want to lower the car 1.5"-2"...will i need to section off the struts? if so, by how much?

3) What other parts will i need to do a z32 brake conversion on all wheels? any special brackets, hoses or anything like that?

4) I'd like the car to have a Chevy 5-lug pattern if possible, how does the bolt pattern on a 300zxtt compare?

Thanks in advance guys

Much information about all the questions is available in the archive. I will try to give you the short answers.

1) The hub you use is off an 84-89 300ZXT, not the 90-96 300ZXTT. It should not affect the coil overs.

2) General consensus is that less than 2" drop will not require sectioning.

3) Stony did the z32 brakes on the front of his car. Search for the posts, it was fairly involved. The rear has been done also, but no-one found a way to make the e-brake work.

4) Nissan/Datsun 5 lug pattern is the same as the Ford 5 lug. (5x4.5 if I remember. Chevy is 5x4.75.) Chevy will require different hubs (look for Mike kz) or adapters (Scottie-GNZ) on the front. In the rear it will take either another rear end, or adapters.

Dig around a little more. There is plenty of information.
