Guest polarity
If someone could tell me how to check these numbers. Chevrolet: 350, .030 in. oversize, 4.030 in. bore, 3.48 in. stroke, 5.7 in. rod length, .067 in. dish, hypereutectic piston How do I know if that is what I'm looking for (the only two parts I know are right are the 350 and the .030) What are the rest of those numbers, and how do I figure out if its what I'm looking for? Guest Z-rific
Bore is the size of cylinder, stroke is length the piston travels. Since your cylinders were bored over .03" and the standard bore of a 350 is 4", then you need a 4.03" bore piston, which is what you have listed. Stroke should be the same, barring anything out of the ordinary has taken place. I'm not experienced with hyper. pistons, so check with the engine gurus here for better advice. Guest Anonymous
Need to know your rod size also when you order, but you are running the standard set-up. Plus the hyper..... pistons have a good expansion rate. So the piston to wall claerance can be run a little tighter than with forged pistons.
