Aurae10
Ok, I'm driving an hour to see a 240Z. Wondering if I should take some tools to check it out... Like a compression gage? or something like that? he said it burns a little oil, so i thought it would be good to check the compression. anything else I should take with me?! I know to look for rust in the Frame Rails, Floors, Hatch, Battery Tray, and Rockers, any other ideas? here is a link to pictures of the car http://12-215-46-46.client.mchsi.com:8080/240z/ Engine looks a little burnt. but who knows... don't think it matters but I'm told it's a '73 and has round tops. (plus for me!) OH! one more thing, he said he wasn't sure how good the breaks were, wondering what lines I should check. Thanks for the Help ~Matt
innerware
Definately bring a compression tester. A magnet is good to find any filler. A flashlight too. A socket wrench with a spark plug socket would be good too. I am sure there are plenty others the mechanics on the site will recomend. Those would be some basics I would bring though. Good luck, Kyle
