Guest mkokimoto
You can use a screwdriver to start the car. Jump the big lug connected to the battery with the little spade connector to start the car. I started my car like this for the first two weeks I had it. I also had a wire going from the battery to the ignition coil. I connected that when I wanted to drive the car. Once you do that, just run a wire from the spade connector to the inside of the vehicle. Then hook it to a momentary switch, aka., s2000 start switch. You'd turn the ignition "on", then press the start switch. I'm considering something like this because my ignition switch's start position isnt working too well.. i have to keep going back and forth to get the 'sweet spot' to start the car. Guest MaXbOOst
damn man , u think just like me lol , i tried the screw driver deal and all i get is a loud click....hmm im gonna try a diffrent battery tommarow....even though mines an optima( 3 yr warranty ya !) but autozone sells that start switch for $20 , plus ucant start the car without the key being in the on position .....so even if a thief were to get in , he could only crank that starter....hehe plus he would never find my fuel cut switch.( another theft deterrent ! ) so im gonna try a diff battery then move on to the start switch setup. but i know its that inhibitor switch, and thats why the car wont start , beacuse that thing isnt wired right some how....
