Guest V8Z-TEK
This got me interested. Might just have to ditch the carbed 350 for this set-up. My local junkyard is littered with 350 TPI's. http://www.chevyhiperformance.com/techarticles/56858/index.html
Guest the_dj
For that price, get a Stealth Ram. That intake won't fit the TPI engines...it's for vortech heads.
Guest V8Z-TEK
Yeah, i know that intake system is made for vortec heads.....thats the whole idea. The cost for the Stealth Ram kit is around 2k, and for the heads and intake, this route is only around 950.00. Both yield about the same output with stealth puttin out around 275hp and 365lb/ft, and the Vortec putting down around 300hp and 390lb/ft. Plus, like in my case, im pulling the motor out of a junk yard, and new heads are always a plus on a used engine. Granted the stealth ram will allow for a high-rev motor and substantial gains throughout the higher rev range. just my .
