Guest hondajohn
I just joined this board a few days ago and have already found it to be very informative, THANKS! How do I post a picture or attach one to my message on this site? I would like to post a pic. of my car that will soon undergo the hybrid transformation w/SBC - a nice '71, metallic silver, Perellis on Intras... Also, I updated my user info. to add my location but it hasn't shown up. Any ideas?? JOHN (Tacoma WA)
Guest butlersZ
To post a pic: In the "message body" click "Img" tag then paste the URL or address of the picture and then click the"Img" tab once again. The pic has to be uploaded on the net to a personal gallery, the photo album, etc. Your car sounds nice, post some pics, and welcome to the board. Phyte
You need a place to host your photos online. I personally run one of these sites at http://www.onclickpix.com . It's $10 a year and allows you to upload up to 1000 photos and remote link those to anywhere. It even includes popular forum tags. All you have to do is copy/paste the link into this forum and your pics will show! Phyte
Guest RCNSC
http://www.imageshack.us Its free, don't even need to register, just upload and link.
Phyte
http://www.imageshack.us Its free' date=' don't even need to register, just upload and link.[/quote'] Ya, but they only support images upto 850k. Most digital camera's take pics that are 1MB+, which means you gotta resize your pic before you can even upload it. If you don't have a program to resize your pic then your outta luck! Also on imageshack you have to dig through a lot of advertisements. Also you can only upload one image at a time. That's the difference between my site and imageshack Ask Sparky, Z-Tard, 73TPIZ, datsunatx, arcticwhitez, cmyzcargo and several others. Between all the Z members there are several hundred photos on OCP! Oh did I mention that with OCP you can adjust brightness/contrast, hue/saturation/luminescence, RGB colors, add text, add borders, resize, rotate/flip, remove redeye, crop, and more Phyte
Z-TARD
(Cartman voice)"Yeah.... It's pretty cool" Can't beat it for the price. Plus you don't have to deal with all the stupid stuff involved with Yahoo photo albums, and you get to help out a fellow Z guy in the process. Guest bastaad525
yeah but it's NICER to resize your pics first.... then guys with slower interne connections don't have to wait three days to see what the fuss is about. I'm sure getting a program for cheap or free to do just that wouldn't be a problem... my digital cam came with software to do this already, I'd find it hard to imagine most others wouldn't as well. Anyways, barring huge image file sizes... why do so many people seem to totally overlook the fact that you can upload your pics right here at hybrid Z? I mean... your'e already signed up... and if you have a lot of them (personal albums are limited) just post them in the general section.
