Wiring harness and such

Hey guys,

I went through the task of ripping out my dash tonight it was a bear but managable, The wiring harness is a mess. Im basically doing a rebuild of the whole car. Im gonna use a carburated 305 or 350 with a t5. Im gonna go with aftermarket gauges and hopefully fabricate a heater control panel from another car mines trashed. The thing is I would like to use a new wiring harness and get rid of the tube fuse box and the birdnest I have on my hands... Do the aftermarket "easy" wiring harnesses work with nissan turn signals and lights??? If anyone has had any experience with installing them please tell me what to look for. The wiring, priming, and frame rails are my first step then Im gonna rust proof the whole thing and mount the JTR motor and tranny mounts.

Oh yea Also I got the factory 73 straight 6 and 4 speed im gonna sell if possible, Anyone know what its worth the carbs are shot engines compression is ok.

Thanx

Jeb, there has been some talk lately in some of the other forums about wiring harnesses and the like. Painless Wiring and Ron Francis are good units, but are rather pricey for what you get. There are other kits available from different companies for less money and they seem to be just as good. A few members have tried wiring their own harness and have had success. See if the search function is working and try some of the other forums. Good luck.
