Guest sball
Anyone know of a conversion using the nissan 4.5 V8 I was going to use a lexus V8 with a GTO kit but discovered the wrecker has a 96 infinity front cut 110,000kms and for $2500. It looks the same in dimensions but it's covered with abs, traction crap and the sump pan is forward and the Lexus V8 is rear to the block, appart from the sump issue it looks OK, the Lexus has 2 ecu's one for eng, one for tranny, so easy to run supra 5 speed box, what seems attractive right now is the infinity has a awesome auto that works well for manual shifting (so I was told) appreciate any info. Guest Dan0myte
Do we not have moderators on this forum? This guy posted this in every single section.
Guest sball
so whats your problem, the idea is to share info, not everyone reads every section
Dan Juday
sball, we don't do that here. Lots of guys go to the daily active topics page. Multiple listings of the same post just spam up that board. Also you end up with a split thread that can often become more trouble than it's worth. Guys here are happy to help. If you post and get no responce just "bump" the thread. Like someone else said on another version of this same post/thread, some people don't visit here on the weekends. So just bump it a couple of days. If you continue to multiple post you will find that people will just not respond to you. And we don't want that. We like you guys from down under. You get lots of cool cars we don't get to see state side. Thats all. And welcome to HybridZ.
Guest Dan0myte
Think about it. If everyone who had a question posted it in every single section, there would be no need for sections. It might as well just be one long, unorganized, impossible to use forum. Keep your questions in the section they belong. You'll receive more replies and annoy less people. DavyZ
SAC, The guys are not trying to blast you, but are just telling it like it is. Avoid multiple posts since they are looked at as spam by the Administrators and Moderators. The advice given by Dan to "bump" your topic in the appropriate forum is a good one and I highly recommend it since it seems to work well. Thanks for your help!
