280Zen
Ok, I've bought a Camden supercharger for my 83 280zx L28, I am trying to build this as a balls to the wall street/track daily driver! If such a thing is possable. I've got a new crank pulley being designed to fit the 77/78 dampner which is what the supercharger was designed for originally. But I've run into a conundrum. Problem #1. The supercharger pulley mounts to the dampner, Replacing the power steering pulley. I want my power steering.. Problem #2. I also have a dry sump oil pan and would if possable like to use it. BUT from what i've seen so far the crank pulley needs to be a cog type pulley rather than a stock V belt or even a ribbed serpentine belt. There may be a V belt pully option from Weaver but I haven't called them yet.. Problem #3. If I use the dry sump pump it mounts where the Air conditioning compressor mounts. Ugh,,, No air in Florida! wouldn't be a daily driver for long I want all my comforts and my go faster toys!!! So put your thinking caps on and start sending in the ideas..
