MAYHEM
While I've been looking for a Z, to get I've been following this board and getting info on Z's. My basic question is this. I've noted that JTR is the way to go for most all the people here. I got a catalog (MOTOSPORT AUTO, WWW.zcarparts.com ) from a customer of mine (I work auto retail)and they have a V8 conversion kit(not that pricey). Why is this/or to make it more political correct, not used that much by members here? I guess I'm asking the pros and cons? Thanks.
Guest Anonymous
Members have used the MSA kit and been able to get full length headers under the car. The JTR method sets the engine down further in the frame rails and further back in the car supposedly creating a lower center of gravity and a better weight balanced ride. In my way of thinking the JTR method has your pants fully zipped up and the MSA is not quite all the way zipped.Kind of like Pepsi/Coke preference.
