Guest zfan Posted May 9, 2005 Share Posted May 9, 2005 I recently upgraded my brakes on my 240Z. I used the Modern motorsport 300zx/Toyota 4 pots up front and they are good but the 240SX/300zx rear brakes suck. They are barely grabbing is there something I missed? I swapped the master for a 15/16" master cylinder and swapped the brakes lines around. I have not installed the preportioning valve as the fronts will lock up but the rears barely work. Just wondering if I did something wrong. Usually the rear brakes lock up on brake upgrades, I have power bled it three times, no air in the system. Did the swap from drums to discs call for some other mod that I am not aware of? I am at a loss and would like to figure this one out this next week as I am doing Ross's stub axle upgrade and 300ZXT CV conversion as well.
