tkach Posted September 19, 2004 Share Posted September 19, 2004 i was wondering if anybody has done this before. ive got a 6al box with a blaster 2 coil and 8mm hielicoil wires. installed all these and had a problem starting the z. so i went out and got the 8920 tach/ fuel adapter. installed it and when i put the red wire from it on the battery i can get the car to turn over. but that is the only way i can get the z to turn over. i cant seem to find a good wire to splice into. leaving it hooked up to the battery will fry the adapter (first hand knowlage was gained of this today). and i tried to hook it strait into the ingntion but got nothing(keeping in mind i have been using a dmm to try and find this wonderful impossibly hard to find wire). anybody know of a good wire location to splice into to get my wonderfuly pure 12 volts. so i can get my z running? sorry if this has been posted before.
