NEWBIE to haltech f9 Also does anyone know this 240z?

This is the z in question. I just bought it and it comes with the following:

1) freshly rebuilt high compression engine with headers, stainless steel valves, high perf clutch, bronze valve guides, and high flow exhaust system. msa cam kit 270/280 460 lift

 

2)ported stock intake runners with custom plenum, 74mm grand prix supercharged throttle body, in tank super.grand prix fuel pump, super. grand prix injectors.

 

3) Haltech f9 fully programmable fuel injection system (software & lap top PC included), Crane multiple spark ignition system with adjustable timing advance on the fly w/ high capacity coil and plug wires.

 

4) Installed SCCA approved roll cage, high perf suspension - front and rear sway bars, springs, shocks, front suspension busings, steering bushings, front and rear strut tower braces.

 

 

i know nothing about haltech although i have the manual now. But at idle the car fluctuates really badly, the battery was dead though and the car was running off the alt. Also is it normal for a z this modified to not like going slow in certain gears or else it starts bucking. It has a 4 speed.
