Zerrari GTO Posted September 24, 2004 Share Posted September 24, 2004 I'm getting ready to section the struts on my 280 and was advised that 84-86 300ZX replacement cartridges worked well on a 1 1/2" section with Motorsport lowering springs. Doug71zt Posted October 7, 2004 Share Posted October 7, 2004 Front struts that will work are MR2 or Rabbit in the front. Stock 240 fronts in the rear. I've never heard of Z31 cartridges being used. Talk to Ground Control or Ross C(Modern Motorsports) for the lowdown. Most times when shortened struts are used, coilovers go it also, with a higher rate spring than what you are looking at.
