Guest duende1933
I installed a 280zxt engine and tranny (T5)in my 240z. The shifter ended up about 4 inches forward from the ideal position. How can this be remedied? Do I have to use the 280z tranny? Would the one from a 280z hold up to 350 flyweel hp? Thank's

MikeK280z
One option is to replace the shifter with one out of a late 90's Mustang. it will allegedly shift better, and sit the knob back about 2 inches. Here is a link with some info: http://geocities.com/zgarage2001/borg.html
