KraZeeZX
WOW! I did a LOT of work on my Z today (October 2, 2004) getting all the loose ends tied up... there's only a few more things to do before she's totally done! I'll take some pics tomorrow (October 3rd) afternoon when the suns out and post the before & after of all the work! Here's what I accomplished in ONE measley day! 8) - 1) Picked up the Z at 9:00 AM from the body shop and drove her home. - 2) Put new oil in, discovered leak, temporarily fixed leak - 3) Ordered new metal header gaskets (to fix my exhaust leak) - 4) Put my new wheels/tires on... I already posted that though! (they look too good to mention only once, hehe) - 5) Routed the intake so there is now a filter and the hood closes! - 6) Relocated the thottle cable bracket & readjusted the throttle cable - 7) Trimmed my Fuel rail covers and got them on... they look PURTY! - 8 ) Zip-tied all the loose wires and cleaned up the engine bay a little bit - 9) Cleaned up the interior & trunk a BUNCH - 10) Fixed all of my gauges - 11) Found an oily rag in my dash and cleaned that mess up - 12) cleaned up the garage - 13) Locked the car up at 2:00 AM - 14) Logged into HybridZ What an adventurous... exciting... and exhausting day it has been! I will admit that I have NEVER been so productive in my LIFE! Just shows how much a nice car can motivate ya! Not too much left now... here's what I have to take care of : - Get an inspection sticker (can't driver without it! ) - Run a toggle switch from my electric fan to the interior (for some reason, it doesn't turn off when I turn off the car anymore! I guess the relay went bad, so the switch will be fine for now.) - Get a new oilpan - Replace my header gaskets - Move my battery (I can't put my T-tops in the trunk! ) - Build the custom panels for the engine bay Once those 6 things are done... my car will be juuust about ready to go to it's first show!!! If I had the resources and kept working like I did today.. all that could be done at the end of tomorrow! I'll get y'all some pics soon and hopefully (fingers crossed I'll have a decent camera man) some video! -Vann
2Forty
Same for me. Pulled old engine and removed entire rear end. Going to put in R200 next, maybe tomorrow. Good luck!
