5 lug modern motorsport or 5 lug 300zx

Hi, just a quick question about a 5 lug conversion. Is there any difference in offset from the MM hubs vs. the 280 or 300 from the junk yard? If so, what? I want to run 17x8 torque thrust rims and want to know what is best. I do have a coilover kit to permit the 8 in. wide wheels.Thanks for your help in advance.

Depends on which hub of ours you're referring to.

 

We have a few options, two of which are noted in our webshop, the 5lug Cobra hub maintains the same offset as the stock 4lug 240Z/280Z hubs.

Our OEM Z31 5lug upgrade billet aluminum hub replaces the 5lug Z31 OEM hubs, which have about 3/4" positive offset versus the OEM 4 bolt Z hubs.
