EZ-E
I have just done this to my vehicle, an 82 280ZXT. I had adjusted the AFM as per all suggestions that I've seen at 18 teeth clockwise, and the car seems to run well. I have and adjustable fuel pressure regulator, that I have also turned back to 37lbs @ idle looking at the pressure gauge. My question is, should the "pressure" be 37lbs at idle with the vacumn hose connected to the regulator or with it off and then set to 37lbs. I did this and once the vacumn was hooked again pressure wasnt reading as well. Thank you for any help anyone can offer.
Scottie-GNZ
Set the FP to 37# with the vacuum line off and I like to cap the open with my finger to keep the idle "normal". Once you reconnect the line, vacuum will drop the pressure a bit and that is OK. If you lightlyress the accelerator and bring the boost gauge up to "0", the FP should be 37#.
