Guest Z2nr
Okay I am new to the Z world. I am a little confused on some terminology. I know the parts of the drivetrain, but little thing confuse me. I'll tell you what I understand, tell me if it's wrong, and then explain how and why if possible. The rear end consists of a differential and half shafts, as far as the major parts, what the hell is a stub axel, does anyone have a pic of the entire rear end of a 240z? Any help would be appreciated, I tried the search, it's funky doesn't seem to pull up much of anything.
Guest cowboy6280
take some time to play with the search... you can find alot of good stuff. either the short little axle that gets bolted to the half shaft and goes into the differential housing or the outer side by the wheel, bolted to the outer side of the half shaft and goes thur the strut housing and the wheel gets bolted to it. clear as mud?
