How Much HP is Enough?

I have 350 HP at the flywheel and about 360 ft/lbs of torque. I run a Turbo 350 automatic. The car is very managable on the street, in fact, I am currently building a 475 HP 383 stroker to replace the 327 thats in now.

The only thing I stress is what the JTR manual states, if you are going with an automatic, go with a 700r4 or 2004r overdrive. My car is screaming for one mor gear going down the highway at 80 mph at 3800 rpm.

horsepower-kind of like sex-never enough

Assuming you're not overpowering your chassis, tires, and brakes, (and you can upgrade those things) you can't have enough horsepower.

A turbo car can be a mild grocery getter off boost (restraining the right foot) and a monster with a poke at your boost controller.
