Guest ON3GO Posted November 30, 2004 Share Posted November 30, 2004 started getting tools to do some body work on the blue Z and then later on the Hulk Z.. got: 6" Dual Action Air Sander 15 pc 3/8" Reversible Air Drill Kit 16 gage Heavy Duty Air Nibbler Cut off Tool High Speed Reciprocating Air Saw 5" Heavy Duty Air Disc Sander / Cut off Tool also got some nice air craft air tool metal bits, few hammers, welding clamps. all the air tools are Snap On Blue point, might not be the best but i got them for free from my school. welder is next (looking into that now) and im also asking what other tools i might need to get? im looking to do everything from reg body work to custom metal work. im getting a sheet metal brake and a band saw. mike Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
260ZRED Posted December 1, 2004 Share Posted December 1, 2004 Don't forget the sandpaper man. You'll want some real quality stuff, not some cheap #$%^ that rips on you. Its not really a tool I guess but with good paper you can work so much more efficiently. Best I found is either the "aluminum oxide" or the "silicon carbide" types... packs of 100 is what I buy.
