Guest lovemonkeye
dont know to much about carburators yet so i dont know if its the cause of my cars current condition, pretty much ill start it up and in will sound fine (it idles nicely etc). but if i pop it into gear the idle drops greatly and the car sounds like its struggling to stay up and running, and when i press the gas the rpms rise up but my speed isnt going anywhere ( takes about 10 seconds maybe to get up to around 20 mph) in addition to this im smelling fuel like its running rich but no black smoke. if anyone could help me out with some info on this id be very appriciative and so would my Z. Guest lovemonkeye
well it stoped turning on so i checked for spark from ignition coil and it was a faint one so i went ahead and got a new coil along with a new set of spark plugs and when i removed the old ones i noticed they were covered in fuel. so i thought maybe the old spark plugs were not givin enough spark to burn fuel maybe.. at any rate it still wont start and i dont really know how to clean out the excess fuel. im sure theres a post on this somewhere so im gunna go ahead and look for it (if anyone knows where it is can u post link here). thanks a bunch for any help i can get from anyone
