Guest Mike694
I have a 76 280z 2+2 with 97,000 actual miles on it and want to up grad and rebuild the suspension. I am new to the Z world but my wife loves this car. I have a rod and restoration shop so any upgrades are not a problem. I need to know what springs and struts to use on this car for a performance daily driver. I would like to lower the car about an inch and not sacrifice the ride. Also I would like to know which vendor to get them from. I am going to do a complete mechanical restoration on this car so any advice is welcome. I already have the Toyota upgrade on the front and I am going to do the rear disc conversion also. I am going to use the Urethane bushings also. Thanks for the help in advance. Guest ON3GO
well theres plenty of info if you search the site. ill help abit. what you want all depends on a few things, like tire and wheel size, do you want coilovers? do you care if you can or cant adjust the strut settings? www.modern-motorsports.com sells plenty of Z suspension parts, and Ross who owns it is also a member on this site and a very very nice man. other wise you can always try MSA but i dont like using them for suspension parts, or well any parts anymore. but they have parts too. www.zcarparts.com still i would buy from Ross. mike
Guest Mike694
Thanks for the reply. I will look at that. I thought I would get some more feedback judging by how many read this post. I have looked at the venders products but thought maybe the people who used them could give me some advice. I am having information overload from looking at all the vendors websites. I found a webpage one time on how to section the struts and can't find it again. Any help? Mike
