Guest tony78_280z
As advertised in Jegs TORQUE PLUS INTAKE GASKETS Reduces atomization fallout of fuel by passing fuel through the mesh screen in the gasket. The fuel re-atmoizes, forming finer droplets creating more horsepower & an increase of 10-15% in fuel economy. 886-1101..SB-Chevy.. $34.99 Anyone tried this? I'm gonna be doin some intake manifold work in the near future and will need a new gasket anyway. I figure 20.00 more for an increase in HP and gas milage.. HELL YA!! Does it work? It sounds good in theory but so do lots of bogus products. Will it work on my simple setup? (see signature) Any input, including speculation, would be appreciated. Someone who has tried it would be mostly desired. For now I think I'll put it on my after X-mas wish list. Thanks in advance.
660Z
yes they work but they stiffle WOT performance. You get more bottom end and better part throttle performance. In my opinion they`re not worth it and a waste of money not to mention they fall apart in your hand. All they are is window screen put between two gaskets. You can make it yourself. Guest Phil1934
A couple people on the Olds board used them and found the screens had been sucked through the engine when they later tore them down.
