Ever used 240z suspension on a 280z???

I have two cars a 240z and a 280z originally the 280z was a car for me to fix and sell although once i got the paint on there i can't part with the car. The 240z which was the original real project has become a parts car. The car was too far from being finished and in too bad of a shape. Previously i have put on tokico shocks and eibach lowering springs. I was wondering if i can lower my 280 by using the 240 suspension on it. And if anyone has done this before i'd like to know how did it handle. Thank you guys very much.

I believe the front struts are the same. 240 springs are shorter than 280. If you where to switch housings and all I think it would lower it an extra inch so roughly 2 1/2" on the 280. I wouldn't do it.
