Guest ON3GO
Okay went to the local junkyard and something i saw caught my eye. saw a G20 (has a SR20DE i think) and looked at the throttle body.. it seems like a 60mm unit but the best part is it uses the same type linkage as our Z's.. and the shaft itself is very small and it doesnt seem like you would need a spacer to use it. anybody ever look into this? am i way off and i was just seeing things? im going back to the yard this week to get a Q45 86mm t-body, Non-egr N42 intake manifold and 280Z tail lights so i might just pick up the G20 t-body to see if my thoughts were right or wrong. anyways thought i would share. mike
Kennysgreen280zt
The G20 tb is 60mm, the linkage that is on them doesnt work with the Z linkage though the ball is the same size. Also, the TPS on the G20 tb uses a wierd paddle thing to drive the tps rather than the 'D' shaft normally used.
