Guest 71z
I hear all the time at the track from the guys with The v-8 swap in the 240z say that they just swapped out the stock rear end with a 300zx one. is it the z31 or the z32 that swaps? Im planning on doing this so i wanna now which one to get.
innerware
I'll be first to say it......Search the threads. I personally don't know but I am sure it has been covered before. The r200 is what the 240 guys use alot but that is all I know. It came on 280z's and zx's and is stronger that the stock on the 240.
Guest SeanyD300zxT
If you're looking for limited slip, the late model z31 (4/87-89) are the models that came equipped # 84-87 NA: 3.7 open # 88-89 NA: 3.9 open # 84-86 turbo: 3.54 open # 87-89 turbo: 3.7 (post 4/87 clutch LSD, pre 4-87 open) # SE: 3.7 viscous coupling LSD (copied from z31.com) z32 diff's are a different beast, but I do believe a large chunk of them came limited slip (even the na(?)) with each diffrential, they require their respective halfshafts and maybe a custom driveshaft.
