Guest Locutus Posted December 10, 2000 Share Posted December 10, 2000 It seems I might have an opportunity to swap the wrecked chasis of my race truck for a complete 383. The only problem is that the 383 appears to have started to spin a rod bearing or maybe something as simple as the rockers needing adjusted. From a rebuilding stand point what is the value of a complete though not running 383? I know little on a 383, other than it uses a 400 crank, I think and a properly set up 383 will kick ass.
