Guest unique280
Ok Im new to the forums and have done some searching but have had no luck . I posted in another part of this forum also and had no luck so here I go again. I am interested in bringing up the power in my 79 ZX but not sure where to start and which route to take some of my options are NOS or maybe a V-8 swap or add a turbo ........My question is if I decide to add NOS how do I know if my engine can handle it or how much? Also if I decideed to add a turbo what is needed as far as parts and what is suggested. Of course the biggest thing here is money and time. This car will be driven most of the year so cant afford to have my car down for a while so another option is finding a reputable shop here in the Chicago area or some members who are knowledgable and are willing to help. Any and all suggestions and help will be greatly appreciated.
Guest rick458
Most people will get a full turbo motor and go through it, while driving the stock engine
