GrayZee
Can someone tell me which way the water pump pushes the coolant? I know the thermostat is located in the engine where the LOWER rad hose connects, does this mean the coolant flows in a reverse pattern? I'm guessing that the hot water is pushed out the bottom hose and up the rad... pushing cooled water into the intake manifold. Is this correct? Or does it still flow in a traditional way? Drax240z
Waterpumps are centrifugal pumps, meaning that they draw in at the center of the pump and discharge on the outside, similar to a turbocharger compressor. You should be able to follow the path with that info!
